"Around The World" follows The Police on their first world tour in 1979 and 1980, visiting 6 continents and building their fan base show by show, country by country and song by song. In between performances, the movie offers a light-hearted look at the band as they travel the world and visit local landmarks. Around The World is presented with restored picture and remastered sound and includes full performances of 4 songs featured in the documentary.

Recorded during The Police's first world tour, Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland playing with an enthusiasm and passion that would make them the biggest band in the world. Recorded in Japan, Hong Kong and England, the performances include tracks from their first two albums.
