With five tracks by Freddie Mercury, four by Brian May and one by Roger Taylor, Queen gave a first impression with their debut album of what was to come with the following albums. Brian May emphasised the fact that nobody had played synthesisers so that nobody would get the idea that his polyphonic guitar tracks were electronically generated.
