Since her debut with the No.1 cult single "Smile" in 2006, Lily Allen has sold over five million albums worldwide. Her huge success not only spread around the world at lightning speed, but also drew attention to other young female artists.

Her talent as a songwriter was recognized and acknowledged by 2010 at the latest, when she won three Ivor Novello Awards. That same year, she announced that she was taking a break from making music. But in 2013, Lily returned to the studio after spending the previous three years starting her young family and establishing her own record label.

Lily Allen's new album was produced by Greg Kurstin, with the exception of the title track, which was produced by DJ Dahi, and "Air Balloon", which was produced by Shellback.
