After thirteen years of silence, during which the anticipation grew steadily, Boards Of Canada are finally back. "Inferno" retains their signature melodies and atmospheres, harking back to the esoteric influences of "Societas X Tape" (their 2019 NTS mix for Warp Records' 30th anniversary) and the dark atmosphere of "Tomorrow's Harvest", which is intensified by the increased use of voice recordings.
